On the morning of September 26, a CRE train (Train X8469) loaded with auto parts, digital devices and daily goods departed from Xi'anguojigang Railway Station. The train travels westward via the Alataw Pass, crosses the Eurasian continent, and then switches to sea transport across the Baltic Sea to reach Hamburg, Germany, marking the successful launch of the first CRE rail-sea combined transport train (Xi'an-Hamburg) crossing the Baltic Sea.

　　This new route adopts an innovative "rail-sea combined transport" model. The train departs from Xi'an International Port, passes through Kazakhstan and Russia, and then switches to sea transport at the Port of Saint Petersburg to cross the Baltic Sea to the Port of Hamburg. The cargo will then be distributed to Duisburg in Germany, Budapest in Hungary and other European destinations. CR-Xi'an optimized railway scheduling and coordinated with border ports along the route to improve customs clearance efficiency, keeping the total transit time at around 17 days, comparable to traditional routes, achieving the dual goals of "maintaining efficiency" and "offering new options."

　　From January to August this year, a total of 4,069 CRE trains (Xi'an) were operated, up 12.4% year-on-year,  ranking first nationwide in terms of train volume, freight volume and loaded container rate.
